Katherine was born in Austin, TX, and lived there (on and off) for the majority of her life. She took noticeable jaunts to Charleston, SC; San Antonio, TX; and London UK. She currently lives in Tucson, AZ where she likes to participate in an unhealthy amount of improv and performs regularly with her troupe Comic Chaos at Unscrewed Theater.

In 2007 She attended the New York Film Academy where she earned a one-year film-making certificate. She worked for many years on independent films all over the USA as a Production Designer, Art Director, and Prop Master. Notable credits include Natural Selection (2011), Big Significant Things (2014), Kill or Be Killed (2015), and Time Trap (2017).

In December 2018 she graduated from Southwest University of Visual Arts with a Bachelor of Arts in Animation. She interned at Abbott Animation in Tucson, AZ during her senior year and worked as a full-time animator post-graduation until December of 2019. She most recently worked as an FX Artist for Rooster Teeth on the show RWBY.
